GeBIZ is the official one-stop e-procurement portal for the Singapore Government, designed to centralize and streamline all public sector invitations for quotations and tenders. It provides a transparent and accessible platform for a diverse range of suppliers, including local companies (ACRA-registered and non-ACRA-registered), individuals, and foreign entities, to engage with government business opportunities efficiently. Through GeBIZ, suppliers can easily search for available procurement opportunities, download necessary tender documents, and submit their bids online from anywhere with an internet connection. The system supports various procurement methods, including Small Value Purchases (up to $6,000), Quotations (up to $90,000), and Tenders (above $90,000), with specialized "Tender Lite" procedures for smaller tenders up to $1 million in specific sectors like general goods/services, construction, and ICT. Beyond just bidding, GeBIZ offers comprehensive account management features for registered Trading Partners, allowing them to manage their profiles, track bids, view awarded results, and handle invoicing. It also features GeBIZ Mall, an online marketplace where suppliers can publish electronic catalogues to promote products and services directly to government agencies, particularly for small value purchases. The platform is operated under central procurement guidelines issued by the Ministry of Finance, emphasizing fairness, openness, and competitiveness in all transactions. GeBIZ also facilitates Government Supplier Registration (GSR) for businesses to pre-qualify with specific supply heads, enhancing their eligibility for public sector contracts. The platform provides business alerts via RSS feeds to keep suppliers informed of new opportunities, further easing their engagement with government procurement.
