Here's what Tony told buyers this morning:

"Temp volume is down, but the compliance surface area around how you manage that workforce is expanding fast. California's law will not stay in California. The burden of demonstrating human oversight in those decisions will land on the buyer, not the vendor."

Our search data is the other half of that sentence. AI searches on Human Cloud fell 71% this month. HR doubled. Advanced technology rose 200%, media and entertainment doubled, and law rose 50%.

Nobody is browsing "AI" as a thing to buy anymore. Two states just put a human reviewer between AI and the workforce, and the category that doubled is HR, the function that has to run that review. Companies are searching for the capability that absorbs AI: the engineering bench that builds it, the HR capability that governs it, the legal help that keeps it compliant. Thirty-three distinct categories were searched in the last full week, up from 24 a month ago.

So the positioning move is to drop the label and name the function. A profile that leads with "AI" is competing for a search that is disappearing. The profiles that surface are the ones that name the work they take over, the oversight they provide, and the outcome they have already delivered.

Here's to a world that works,

What companies searched this month

Every 76 seconds, someone is looking at a solution profile on Human Cloud. Here is what they are searching to find them.

Percentages are this month vs last month.

New on the platform this month: operations. It was not searched at all last month. Finance, which rose 150% in September, gave most of that back in October, so one month of movement is not a trend. Two is.

If "AI" is the first word on your profile, swap it for the function you run and the oversight you provide. That is the language companies are searching this month.
