Software Is Going Headless. Your Workforce Is Too.

To all my solution friends, below is what companies are searching on Human Cloud. It is a transformational time, and you are the transformational solution making this reality of work happen.

There are a lot of parallels right now between software and the workforce. Both are going through existential change with really strong parallels.

Software used to be hard to build, sticky, and complex. Now anyone with a Mac mini and Claude can copy it.

Likewise, working for yourself used to be daunting, hard to navigate, and risky. Now over half the workforce is independent, and over 70% of those individuals would not go back to full time no matter how much you paid them.

The impact is that there has never been more software. Likewise, never more individuals working independent. Yet genuinely good software, just like genuinely good talent, is harder to find.

Headless vs Visible

The premise is simple: if you have to go to HubSpot to manage your CRM, it is visible (or in app). Whereas if you can work with your CRM inside of Claude, it is headless.

The implication for software is that data becomes the hard part, not the app.

The implication for the workforce is that the ability to access the exact right individual is now more important than the tool, or the process.

Which, if we are being honest, most companies, especially procurement departments and contingent-focused solutions, have indexed on the tool, or the process, or the industry jargon. Not the actual success of the business team.

And the result is now executives saying "slash it" to the tune of 10-50% layoffs.

A Different World

At Human Cloud we have seen a different world. One where workforce related solutions have not sold to procurement. They have sold to the exact business team that is impacted. The CMO. The COO. The engineering lead. And the result is instead of fulfilling acronyms or programs, they have solved business needs.

Whether beecrowd evaluated 2,300 candidates in 30 hours for Vale. Remotely hired 3 LATAM engineers in under 48 hours for Azra Games. Wripple deployed a 6-person team to deliver 4 initiatives for Equifax. Uncompany delivered a 12-location rebrand for under $200K. The Bench deployed 20 activation teams across 39 cities for State Farm.

And to the traditional talent world, this has looked like "rogue spend." Which was not a problem until 60% of contingent spend is now rogue.
